343 Pieces - 24.43%
Well I did it. Three straight days of work and the legs are complete and attached. It was really nice being able to just take the pieces out of the pre-made bags and put them all together. What wasn't nice was the fact that I wasn't as diligent as I thought I had been when it came to putting the bags together. I ended up not having two pieces per leg in each bag. I guess Butters' nose really doesn't work. Anyways, one of the pieces was easy to find, and the other wasn't so easy. I think of the half hour I spent working today, 10 minutes was spent in actual construction, and the other 20 minutes was spent searching for those stupid pieces. Not how I was hoping that it would work out, but in the end I got the legs made and attached. As you look at the picture you might realize that only 6 of the legs are there. That's because the 7th goes on later, even though it is identical to the other six.
Lastly I would like to give a shout out to Josh and Alisha Weiss. Apparently they are fans of the project and have been inspired. Actually I should say that Alisha has been inspired, to buy Josh a huge LEGO pirate ship for him to put together. Thanks you two for being awesome.
