253 Pieces - 44.79 Percent
So I'm well on my way to my goal of being 55% done by the end of this week. As I was working today though, I got a glimpse of what I believe is going to be the rest of this construction progress. The whole rest of this thing is going to be modular. In it's defense, up to this point is has been pretty modular as well. The difference now though, is that the modules are much smaller and harder to build. I found myself searching for random parts, in short supply, some of which exist only for that particular module. Before this it has been big pieces that there are tons of in the box. I suppose that it's just a shift in the dynamic. On a sadder note, for anyone who did in fact vote for Guinness, you might already know that he didn't make it into the race. There has been a lot of talk around the town that the victor, one Bean Rex, had some kind of dastardly plan to pull ahead using dubious means on the last night of voting, thereby securing his place in the race. While this may be true, I think that there is something else that needs to be addressed along with this concern. Guinness is a Champion, and a champion doesn't need votes to be a winner. While the Evil Rex Bean might have cheated his way into the race, I think that Guinness would want us to take the high road and wish that Evil genius good luck. In the end Rex Bean will probably get what he deserves, most likely by being strangled to death with unwanted hugs by his obese owner that sat up all night creating false email addresses and voting with them, or perhaps by getting thrown in the washing machine after sleeping in a pile of dirty laundry whilst wearing a stupid t-shirt. The bottom line is, that he will get his, and Guinness will go on to live another day with his owners that love him and would never strangle or wash him. Here's to you Guinness, for losing with a magnitude of grace equaled only by the magnitude of your awesomeness.
Topside Progress
Bottom-side Progress

THE CHAMPION!!!
